Why do I need help?

You might feel that your business results just aren't producing what you are looking for. This could mean your cashflow and income levels are poor, or perhaps you might be cash rich and time poor, having to work too many hours to get the result you need.
 
Every time I talk to a business owner I ask them what improvement the want, and what they are planning to do to change this. Most answers are the same, they want things to improve but just don't know what it is they need to do to achieve this. Taking risks with your marketing can be disastrous so having some expert guidance and support can reduce the risks and accelerate the results.
 
Having the right knowledge, developing the skills and working to a plan are all critical. In many cases the actual marketing methods and techniques required to get better results are quite simple - when you know how. And this is the point, there are lots of books and self-study programmes out there that will give you lots of great advice and explain what to do but very few actually tell you how to do it!
 

How does it work?

In the marketing industry at one end of the scale is the resource in knowledge, materials like books, programmes, manuals, information of all types and in all formats. You'll need to pick out the relevant bits and work out how you to apply this to your business. At the other end of the scale are the outsourced services, like marketing and PR agencies, sales teams for hire, designers, etc. These will take on the responsibilities for certain activities but your marketing management needs to become an imbedded part of your business, until this happens you're never going to get the results you want.
 
The consulting service I provide focuses on four simple elements:
  1. An effective analysis of your business (current or planned) to understand what you need to do to create a profitable structure in your marketing and sales processes. Many of my clients find this first element a revelation. Having an independent consultant look at their business with fresh eyes and no hidden agenda throws up lots of new ideas and clarifies what might be going wrong.
     
  2. Then, working together to build a plan we will produce something that will become an asset to your business. This will give your marketing structure and purpose, a framework that will help you make progressive steps towards your goals for getting more customers and making more profit.
     
  3. Learning and developing the required skills will equip you to manage the day-to-day activities of marketing. Just like the well-worn quote of teaching someone to fish (and feeding them for life) knowing how to run your marketing systems will help you progressively build and run a productive enterprise.
     
  4. Support and assistance when you need it is vital to success. It's no coincidence that most successful business people and entrepreneurs are coached and mentored by others. Having sound practical advice to turn to when you need it will ensure you keep to your plans, run and develop your systems and stay focused on the goals and outcomes.

How much does it cost?

Every client has different needs and so each project is bespoke. Getting a positive result is the overall aim for everyone; I only take on client projects where I know my services are going to make a major difference in helping to build better marketing systems. As most of my new clients are referred by previous or current ones producing a successful outcome is not just a desire but essential.
 
In most cases the initial project runs for three months (comprising all four elements listed above) this may seem short but the clients I work with want fast results, they aren't interested in being coached for six months or more before they see any outcomes.
 
The service I provide span a range of costs with some basic help and assistance costing as little as £200.00 plus VAT. My approach to fees is to establish excellent value for money and provide an investment opportunity, not just for your business but your personal life as well.
